Nelson’s of Trafalgar Bar and Restaurant can be found in the friendly town of Trafalgar. The business has an 80-seat restaurant, a cosy non-smoking bar called “The Lamplighters Bar” and a take away food area. Marcus and Pauline Barker have owned and run the business for 13 years and in that time have extended and renovated most areas of the building. It features an Italian Modern Australian menu utilising local products to create a fresh innovative menu.
Nelson’s boasts an extensive wine list, 3 beers on tap including Guinness and a full range of spirits and liqueurs. It is a popular and friendly restaurant enjoyed by people throughout Gippsland. The main dining room can cater for private parties of up to 45 people. There are also some nice quiet spots for romantic couples to dine. In winter the open fire brings warmth and ambience to a favourite spot in the restaurant.
The Lamplighters Bar is a very comfortable and laid back bar complimented by some great background music.
